A spokesperson from the club said June 7 sees thousands of young swimmers find out what times they achieved as part of the Bio Island Australian Junior Excellence Program (JX).
The spokesperson congratulated Bailey Whitton (gold), Sarah McIntosh (bronze), Tiarna Huckle (bronze) and Sam Mannaford (blue) on their accolades.
Their achievements are based on 50 metre swim times from the last season.
"After battling it out in competitions throughout the 2018-2019 season, the program recognises performances, encourages development and strives to inspire the next generation of competitive swimmers," the Laurieton Swimming Club spokesperson said.
The Bio Island Australian JX program is one of the largest recognition programs in the sport.
