The Kendall Tennis Club will host the zone trials with over 96 students from years three and four to represent schools from Kempsey in the north to Coopernook in the south.
It will be the third year the club has held the trials, but club president Wendy Hudson said they were pleased they had also been allocated the regional trials on September 20.
"It means the way we've run the zone trials over the last couple of years has been good," Hudson said.
"The whole day is for everyone; it's about participation."
The top teams from this Friday's event will go through to the regional trials to play off against those from the Coffs Harbour zone.
From the regional trials the winning team will head to the Sydney in November for the NSW Todd Woodbridge Cup finals.
12 teams in total will be split into two pools of six
St Joseph's Laurieton, St Joseph's Kempsey and Port Macquarie Public will have two teams while smaller schools from Comboyne and Coopernook will also field teams.
"It's great for the small schools," Hudson said.
Play will start around 10am and finish by 2pm at the club's new centre in Orara Street with 24 mini courts to be set up across the centre.
