The program at the centre has been running for a few weeks, under the guidance of Rebekah Hoodless from All Stars Studio.
Miss Hoodless said the residents are keeping her on her toes, as they are picking up all the steps quickly.
She said the residents all give the dancing a "really good go" and everyone always leaves with a big smile.
The dancing helps to mobilise all the joints in the body, to improve flexibility and to ensure the residents stay active.
Resident Betty Sykes was a competitive swimmer for Australia and swam at the Olympics when she was 15-years-old.
She said many of the exercises for ballet are similar to those she used to do for swimming.
Betty enjoys interacting with the younger ballet dancers, who she said will grow up to be stars.
Daphne Millington is 93-years-old and she said the dancing is helping improve her fitness.
Laurieton Lakeside activities officers Donna Clayton and Cassy Greentree established the ballet program at the centre.
Cassy said it's wonderful to witness the interaction between the residents and the young dancers.
Donna said the program has been a big hit with all the residents.
