Their 3/4 team defeated Laurieton Public School 4-2 in the final before the 5/6 team backed up the school's success with a win over Westport Public School to cap off an undefeated tournament.
Mid Coast Futsal development officer Alison Fazzolari said they had "built" the tournament up over the last five years and now Lake Cathie had reaped the rewards.
"When we first started about five years or so ago they were the easybeats," she said.
"They really struggled, but have worked on it and now are one of the best schools."
While it was all about Lake Cathie in 2019, another Camden Haven school are the ones to watch in 12 months time.
"Laurieton Public are the ones to watch next year," Fazzolari said.
The tournament had over 18 teams who competed in four divisions including a home-schooled team with 39 games played on the day and many great efforts put in.
Games were hotly contested with good sportsmanship on display. For any players wishing to join local futsal call Alison on 0412 191923.
