The U3A Choir delivered the performance on Friday, September 27 under the directorship of Iain Pole.
The choir performed a beautiful selection of songs, abiding by the theme of Calamity and Courtship. The program featured many songs popularised by Doris Day.
The performance of 'Sentimental Journey' by soloist Betty Boyd was particularly enjoyed by the large audience in attendance.
Choir leader and U3A convenor Sue Bartholomew was pleased with attendance at the concert. It raised about $400 for the Laurieton NSW Ambulance service.
Another concert by the Laurieton Voices is planned for December 2019. For more information, or to join the choir please call Sue Bartholomew on 6559 6129.
