The carnival started on October 19 and runs for eight days encompassing men only, women only and mixed competitions across the tournament.
Carnival coordinator Andy Lloyd said so far the carnival had been a great success.
"We are in the midst of our 61st Riverview Carnival and everyone is having a great time," Mr Lloyd said.
"Over the eight days we have three days for men, two days just for women and three mixed days.
"Everyone is having a great time and we could not have asked for better conditions for our bowlers out on the green."
Mr Lloyd said over the eight days more than 1700 games will be played with people coming from all over to take part.
"We have been hosting this carnival for 61 years now so we have lots of people come to town just for the week," he said.
"People from all over NSW as well as Queensland and elsewhere.
"They make a little holiday out of the carnival and everyone has the best time."
The carnival started on October 19 and will go until October 26 at Club North Haven.
