American based distributor Finke Equipment NY will be the brands American dealer to the US market, with units set to leave Australia on Friday, November 1.
Finke Equipment NY is one of the largest distributors of heavy equipment in North America and approached Stabilcorp in April 2019 to start negotiations for ShoulderMaster distribution rights.
ShoulderMaster is an Australian award-winning Skid Steer Shoulder Paving Attachment designed and manufactured by Stabilcorp.
"This purpose-built attachment allows for quicker and more cost-effective repairs to be made to dangerous, narrow roads and crumbling edges; thereby enabling RMS, government, councils and contractors to save money, cut repair time, minimise traffic disruptions and reduce fuel consumptions," explained Stabilcorp's Ashleigh Pinson.
"The national success and now expansion of ShoulderMaster to the US market has seen growth for not only Stabilcorp, but also for 20 other businesses in the local Mid North Coast region who provide service and components to Stabilcorp to ensure the success of ShoulderMaster.
"In the last 18 months Stabilcorp has employed two full time tradesmen along with two new apprentices through Newman Senior Technical College. At least three other businesses have also increased their staffing levels to service the growth of ShoulderMaster.
"After travelling to Houston Texas last year exhibiting at the World of Asphalt 2018 and testing the USA market with our design the feed back was overwhelmingly positive and our product was in high demand.
"In April 2019 we were contacted by Finke Equipment in New York showing strong interest in ShoulderMaster and becoming a potential dealer in the USA. We couldn't be more proud of our great Aussie-made innovation," said Ms Pinson.
