Hundreds flocked to Club North Haven and Laurieton United Services Club on October 5 to enjoy a fine lunch, catch up with friends and to place a bet.
The consensus is while everyone has a favourite to win it is anyone's guess who will cross the line first.
In the meantime ladies and gentlemen dressed to impress and enjoyed a day out.
