This work has involved two Greencorps teams, thousands of hours of volunteer input, grants, contractor work and work by council's bush regen team.
The work has been made possible by several grants from Hastings Landcare, planting of several thousand seedlings, an erosion control project, building of an access track to Gogleys Lagoon and aerial spraying of the foredunes along the Dunbogan Beach.
This project has benefited the community in many ways.
The group would like to invite interested community members to attend the celebration.
For those who would like to do a tour of the sites - about a one km walk, covered shoes- please meet at the toilet block at Pilot Beach at 10 am.
The walk will take in number of habitats in which the group has been working.
Before and after photos will be on hand to showcase the achievements of this highly dedicated and hard-working group.
A morning tea will follow at the large covered picnic shelters along from the toilet block at 11am.
Please phone 6559 7134 by November 15 to book if you are interested in attending either or both activities.
