Laurieton Commonwealth Bank branch has again joined the #inthebag campaign, setting up a collection point for handbags in new or near new condition, along with women's personal care and sanitary items.
The initiative, run by Australian not-for-profit organisation Share the Dignity, has been providing homeless and at risk women with sanitary products since early 2015.
Pauline Hoad, branch manager of Commonwealth Bank Laurieton said they were delighted to be part of it again.
"We're thrilled to support Share the Dignity in the lead up to Christmas with their initiative, which helps make life a bit better for women experiencing homelessness or poverty in our local community," Ms Hoad said.
Laurieton is just one of many Commonwealth Bank branches in the Mid North Coast region that are taking part in the campaign.
All 14 branches in the area are also supporting as collection point.
The Laurieton team are hoping to collect 30 bags during the campaign.
"Anyone who would like to support Share the Dignity can do so by donating a handbag in good condition filled with essential items to a participating Commonwealth Bank branch before December 7," she said.
