Police search ends in missing man Gregory Gallen found safe

A man who went missing on the state's Mid North Coast has been found safe and well at Crowdy Head on Friday, January 10.

Gregory Gallen, aged 31, disappeared from a home at Lake Cathie on Tuesday, January 7.

His disappearance sparked a large scale search by Mid North Coast Police District, Police Dog Unit, PolAir, trail bikes, Marine Rescue and SES volunteers.

The spokesperson from NSW Police said information from the public and family members assisted in their search.

Members of the public found Gregory at about 2pm at Crowdy Head on Friday, January 10 and alerted emergency services.

Gregory was taken to Manning Base Hospital for assessment.
