The club will take five crews north comprising of over-50 men, over-40 women, reserve grade men, open/under-23 women and a very strong open men's crew.
Boat sweep Steve Monaghan said it was a rare opportunity for the club to have such a strong contingent competing.
"It's been a long time since we've had five crews represent Wauchope-Bonny Hills at a boat carnival, especially at this time of the year with a lot of people away," he said.
It will be a special moment for Tom Inatey who has recently gained his bronze medallion.
"He has recently also attended his first beach patrol and will compete at his first surfboat carnival."
The club will also welcome back a great clubman when Callum Johnston dusts off his speedos and returns to the water.
Then on Sunday the club's under-23 women's crew will head to Sydney to compete at the Collaroy International Young Guns.
The Boatettes won the under-19 division at last year's event and Monaghan admitted a podium finish in the under-23s would be difficult to achieve, but anything was possible.
Half of the Wauchope-Bonny Hills crew could still be competing in the under-19s.
"To go back to Collaroy and make a final would be ideal," Monaghan said.
"I don't expect to get on the podium because there are some very, very good under-23 ladies crews who have been in that division for three years.
"They're as good as open women's crews in Sydney."
