Despite the rain The Bonny Hills Beach Hotel hosted an epic Rural Fire Service fundraiser on January 18.
People were overflowing from the hotel under gazebos as rain fell but the energetic crowd could not contain their joy and the wet deluge.
From live music to a barbecue, face painting and a jumping castle everyone had a great time.
Organiser Jo Hill said the day had been a great success and show of community support for the local heroes in yellow.
"Bonny Hills is a tight-knit community and we know how hard our local RFS guys have been working so it is great to see so many supporting the day," Ms Hill said.
"The musicians have been entertaining the crowd and all money raised is going directly to the local unit to help purchase much needed equipment.
"We have had lots of raffles and prizes for everyone and people have been so generous with their donations to help our local crew.
"Thank you to everyone who has come down and made it a great day."
