Along with many others in the entertainment industry, Fiona has had to adapt due to changes under the COVID-19 pandemic.
She's now staged three live concerts from the comfort of her own living room, which have drawn thousands of eyes from all over the world.
Fiona uses her mobile phone to film the performances, where she plays on a rare 97 key handmade Australian Stuart and Son's piano, made from Huon Pine.
Even once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, Fiona said she will continue the live concerts, as she voiced her surprise at the amount of audience members who are tuning in to watch her perform.
In 2019 Fiona toured parts of China and the US, which have now become hotspots for the COVID-19 pandemic.
She's still in shock of how quickly the virus has spread through these countries.
Fiona said it now makes sense to work from home, rather than travel to build her brand as a musician.
This is because she can reach a larger audience through the live concerts, than if she were to travel through a country for a month.
Fiona already had a strong fan base behind her before the pandemic broke out, and she really feels for new musicians who haven't had a chance to establish a following as yet.
The live concerts are free, however people can tip Fiona for the pleasure of viewing and listening to the performance.
Fiona said she's still working really hard to ensure new content can be viewed at each concert.
She describes the performances as her kind of meditation and an opportunity for her to pour her heart out while playing the piano.
Fiona hopes the concerts might bring other people some relief and calm during this uncertain time.
Fiona is hosting the live performances twice a week on Fridays from 11am and Sundays from 7am. Each concert is about 35 minutes.
For more information, people can visit the Facebook event page Fiona's Living Room Concert.
The concerts can be viewed live via the Fiona Joy Hawkins Facebook page.
