Its profits are reinvested back into the community through ClubGRANTS as well as donations, or new facilities and events for its members and the community.
In 2020 ClubGRANTS has allowed the club to assist a number of community organisations including North Haven Public School, Laurieton Public School and Herons Creek Public School, RSL Laurieton Sub Branch, Bonny Hills Fire Brigade and community at 3 with over $12,000 in grants.
It is great to support these community organisations and their initiatives from Laurieton Public School's inclusive education program and North Haven Public School's home reading program to Bonny Hills Fire Brigade's incident notification system and much needed equipment upgrades including portable radios.
Over the last three years, Laurieton United Services Club has proudly contributed over $200,000 in Mid North Coast community grants to local charities, sporting groups and organisations.
This couldn't have been done without the tremendous support from its members, and their ongoing support of the club.
The club's purpose is to make a growing contribution to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community with its products and services, as well as aiming to assist in improving community development.
