Small businesses provide local jobs, support our local families and keep the money we spend in our local community, so it's so important that we continue to support them.
The owners of Baked Culture, Larissa and Ben, are a great example of a small business that has thought outside the box and re-invented themselves, which is so important during current times.
Like many of us, Larissa and Ben's business felt the impact of COVID, but they haven't let this stand in their way.
They've looked at things differently and created local partnerships so we're still able to enjoy their delicious pastries.
Larissa and Ben are now baking their treats in the kitchens of other businesses, at times when they're not operating.
They have partnered with Agostina in Horton Street, Port Macquarie to sell their fresh pastries on a Saturday and Sunday morning.
If you haven't tried Baked Culture pastries yet, you are in for a real treat.
... you are in for a real treat.

Larissa advises you pre-order through their Facebook page, with the menu for the weekend posted on the Wednesday prior.
This way they'll have it all ready for you to pick up on your morning of choice. You can also grab a coffee.
The work Larissa and Ben have done is such a great example of the passion needed to have a successful small business, and I congratulate them on what they've achieved.
Small businesses only survive if we continue to support them and, as Larissa and Ben have demonstrated, if locals support locals amazing things can happen.
