All students were successful in their grading attempt.
Gradings took place in several groups to ensure social distancing requirements were met.
"I am proud of each and every one of our students who attempted their grading. They all trained extremely hard and gave their all. This determination meant that every student was successful in reaching their next colour belt," said Shihan Peter.
Students travelled to Nambucca Heads for the grading so they could train with fellow students.
Students train under the instruction of 6th Dan Shihan Peter Becroft.
Shihan Peter has more than 40 years' experience in Martial Arts. Mid North Coast Karate is part of the Goshin Ryu Karate Association- one of the oldest running clubs in Australia. For this grading, students travelled to our affiliated school in Nambucca Heads to share their grading and camaraderie.
"It is great taking it in turns where the grading is held. Students get the opportunity to meet and train with other like-minded students. It is fantastic watching the students grow and develop throughout their Martial Arts Journey and the gradings are a way of reflecting a students growth," said Shihan Peter
Martial arts is a lot of fun. Whilst martial arts teaches self-defence, it also builds a students self-belief, self confidence, goal setting and working towards achieving those goals. It is about being a better, faster, stronger version of yourself each and every day.
Mid North Coast Karate is a family orientated club which has classes available for ages 3 and above and for all abilities at our full time training centre.
