Every costume tells a story at Laurieton PS Book Week parade

The Laurieton Public School library has been buzzing over the past week with the excitement of Book Week.

The week was full of activities, competitions and the annual Book Character Parade and Book Fair to celebrate how reading can unleash 'curious creatures and wild minds'.

Many students came to visit the library delivering absolutely extraordinary entries in the Create a Creature and colouring-in competitions.

Most students came dressed as their favourite book character on Thursday for the book parade.

The costumes were absolutely terrific and student behaviour was exemplary.

A big thank you to parents, students and families for supporting our Book Week 2020 endeavours.
