The unit was given a D-Max logistics vehicle and Mercedes storm response vehicle through the NSW SES, as well as a moving stretcher carrier by the Laurieton United Services Club and Rotary.
NSW SES Camden Haven deputy unit commander Jania Richardson said the upgrades were welcomed.
"We've got a new logistics vehicles, a D-Max ute with a cab on the back to move sandbags, meals, paperwork or any equipment like that," she said.
"We also have a Mercedes storm vehicle which will be one of our response vehicles to respond to jobs. It's equipped to deal with any job we are called out to. It's a totally big upgrade, really the whole fleet has been upgraded through SES.
"It helps us immensely making it quicker to respond and the equipment is much better than we are used to. It is quite advanced."
The unit was also donated a wheeled stretcher carrier for recovering and carrying people who have suffered significant injuries such as broken limbs.
"The wheeled carrier can be used for recovering people with broken legs or washed up from the water," said deputy-unit commander Richardson.
"This has been in the motions for about 10 months or so and was donated through LUSC from a list of possible equipment. We can use it in recoveries when people are hurt and it can also be used by other units in the region."
NSW SES Camden Haven unit commander Gordon Hutchison encouraged potential new members to attend the next SES intake in May 2021.
