There will be one screening only of Brazen Hussies on Sunday, December 13 at 3pm at Wauchope Arts hall.
Brazen Hussies records stories from the Women's Liberation Movement (1965-1975) and Women's Electoral Lobby in a way that reminds us of their significant contribution to the shaping of modern life in Australia.
Dozens of then-and-now interviews allow an array of extraordinary, often high-profile Australian women to articulate their own personal journeys, the gains we have made and how changes demanded 50 years ago have paved the way for society today.
A short Q&A with director and writer Catherine Dwyer plus some 'local guest Brazen Hussies' will follow immediately after the film.
Tickets available now - $20;$15 online sales only - ticket link.
