Kew teenage duo Fletcher Murray and Quedesha Golledge will lead the local charge with 15-year-old Vanna Limeburner and 14-year-old Ella Scaysbrook also expected to be in the mix.
Jack Newton Junior Golf events manager Dale Hughes said Murray will aim to go one better than previous years.
"Fletcher is a Kew member, but is on a scholarship to a Sydney club so he plays under Bonny Doon," Hughes said. "He has come close so many times in this event and turns 18 later this month so this year is his last chance to win it."
Kew hosted its first North Coast Junior Masters in 2015, and one of the bigger fields in recent memory is expected to hit the fairways this year.
"We'll have over 100 golfers which we may have only had once before competing," he said.
"The main reason for that is that this year a lot of people have got the COVID bug and golf has been one of the only industries that has thrived through it."
With the NSW state championships heading to Moss Vale next weekend, a number of players will use the Kew tournament as a tune-up.
"A few of the kids will double-up, but some others will pick one event over the other so we were hoping to have 120-140 at Kew."
Tee off is at 9.30am on Saturday and between 7.30am and 11.30am on Sunday. The lead groups are expected to finish between 3pm and 4pm.
