A Tibetan who has lived and taught in Australia for more than two decades will share his knowledge on the power of meditation and the path to a more peaceful way of life at a community workshop on February 27-28.
Inner peace may be beyond many of us, especially when we are confronted with stressful situations and sudden change.
Our inner resources may be depleted leaving us with few options for a healthy outcome.
If we are wise, we look for ways to improve ourselves and our outlook on life so that we can live a happier and healthier life. This is certainly how a Buddhist sees things at least.
Lama Choedak Rinpoche will share a public talk on 'Meditation and Inner Peace'.
Rinpoche has an ability to share his knowledge and experience of meditation so that the listener feels connected to the wisdom tradition he belongs to.
The evening is hosted by Port Yoga at 172 Pacific Drive starting at 6pm. The cost is $10. The evening will also be streamed over the internet via Zoom.
Rinpoche will also be conducting a weekend of meditation on February 27-28 at Endeavour House on Hasting River Drive.
