Students in the Camden Haven are celebrating new seating crafted by local men's shed volunteers .
The seating platforms were delivered to Herons Creek Public School by the Laurieton Men's Shed on Tuesday, February 16.

A school spokesperson said the wooden platforms provide a better outdoor environment for school students.
"They provide the students with shaded areas raised off the grass, so if the ground is wet the students are not sitting on the wet grass," The spokesperson said.
"Students can sit (on the platforms) at recess and lunch, and they will also be utilized for some outdoor lesson time.
"A huge thank you to the team at Laurieton Men's Shed for donating their time and expertise to build and deliver these for us."
The school has also welcomed their kindergarten students for 2021, Hugh Newman, Evie Lee, Paeyten Beazley and Rick Evans.
