Port Macquarie-Hastings Council received the funding to deliver priority projects for the community under the federal government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
Mayor Peta Pinson said the projects, which would be delivered as a result of more than $3.4 million in federal government funding, were such a gift to the community.
Cowper MP Pat Conaghan said the idea was to get the money flowing through the communities with this investment for shovel-ready projects.
The projects range from pedestrian upgrades at Beechwood to improvements at Telegraph Point's Log Wharf Reserve, the addition of a basketball court at Town Beach Reserve, improved connections on the North Shore and a new tennis court to cater for growing membership at Kendall Tennis Club.
