The government's new Dine and Discover voucher initiative is a free-kick for the Camden Haven and businesses would be silly not to sign up, says local restaurateur Brendon Lynch.

NSW residents over the age of 18 are eligible for the four $25 vouchers. Two vouchers can be spent at dining businesses while the remainder are used for art activities and tourism businesses on any day.
The vouchers can be presented in QR code form by a phone or tablet, or they can be downloaded and printed from a Service NSW email.
Mr Lynch said there are visitors coming to the area with active vouchers from other regions of NSW.
"I think it is a good incentive to bring people into the area and to dine out," he said.
"We signed up the restaurant through an email from Service NSW and followed the prompts there, added the business name and stuff. It was relatively easy.
"I think it's a bit silly if businesses didn't sign up because obviously it's bringing more money to each venue.
"There are people living here who aren't travelling overseas and people visiting from other areas, so I think it will be fantastic for the Mid North Coast. We have already had people with vouchers coming through from Sydney.
"The value of the vouchers is good in the Camden Haven and using one for lunch I'd definitely be expecting some change. It would also probably go a long way for a dining experience as well.
"We could even have people who are hesitate about dining out previously, now decide to head out for a new experience."
Blue Water Bar & Restaurant owner Cheryl Pavey said she had signed up early to the economic stimulus program registry after inquiries by multiple diners.
"I think it's a great idea and any initiative to get people out again rather than staying at home is an excellent idea," Ms Pavey said.
"If there are any short-comings to it then we will find out as it rolls out. We had customers requesting that we did sign up so I said we would accept them.
"People have been asking us everyday and are living close by. I think there is a lot of information still rolling out about it as well.
"The value of the $25 voucher will obviously vary from venue to venue. For us one voucher would probably cover the cost of a main meal but in other places that might not get you a meal."
