The NSW government has established Recovery Centres in Port Macquarie at 143 Gordon Street and at 58 Bold Street Laurieton.
Service NSW will have staff on hand to assist customers at the Recovery Centres as well as a business support specialist.
Service NSW centres are open normal trading hours however contact centres are open 24/7 to take calls outside of these times.
While the Service NSW centres will be closed over Easter, staff will be present at Recovery Centres.
I have toured the Port Macquarie electorate over the past week and have seen firsthand the extent of the flood damage.
I've also witnessed the incredible volunteer support and the wonderful work of all the emergency service organisations and the hundreds of men and women helping complete strangers to clean up.
If you need help with the recovery, please call Service NSW on 13 77 88 or my officeon 6584 0977.
Touring grants open for regional NSW
The NSW government is inviting artists and presenting organisations to apply to its Regional Arts Touring round, which will provide audiences living in regional NSW with increased access to a diverse range of artistic and cultural experiences.
The Regional Arts Touring round will build the viability of NSW arts and cultural organisations by developing new markets and audiences, while encouraging and promoting regional and local support for arts and culture.
NSW has the most exciting local productions, talent, imagination and skill, and we want to encourage audiences to enjoy these cultural experiences which reflect our diverse history, culture and identity, and build our economy through enjoyment and participation.
Funding is available for tours of performing arts, music, visual arts, literature, history, museums and multi-arts. Applications are open until 5pm, on Monday, April 19. For more information including details on how to apply, visit create.nsw.gov.au.
