The two local teams went head to head in the Camden Haven Cup, traditionally the first game between Blues and the Stingrays.
Players were more than eager to kick off local footy after the 2020 season was a no-show due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Stingrays crossed twice, one to Adrian Daley and the other to Josh Dunn however both conversions were unsuccessful.
The Blues scored five times with one each to Mitch Basnett, Thomas Crossfield, Joel Kennedy, Alex Pearce and Kaine Cafe.
Ben Webber kicked three goals, with one each to Alex Pearce and Kaine Cafe.
Man of the Match was awarded to the Blues powerhouse frontrower Riley Opdam, and Kevin Kennedy picked up the three points.
This Saturday the Blues have the bye.
