Camden Haven, Rollands Plains, Pappinbarra, Beechwood and Comboyne residents are invited to one of six meetings from 6pm to 7.30pm from Monday, May 3 to Thursday, May 13.

Meetings have already been held in Wauchope on April 27 and Telegraph Point on April 29. The talks will invite members of the public to share how they have been impacted by floods, collaborate and provide updates on the recovery process.

Rollands Plains cattle farmer Phil Morton who attended similar bushfire recovery meetings said the information sessions are beneficial.

"The big thing about these meetings is looking after your mate. People need to know who is in their district and account for them," he said.

"This is the biggest event we have had a recovery from, there is a huge amount of people affected, infrastructure damaged and a huge cost still to be recovered from.

"I think the community has been made well aware of what help is available.

"I think the council and the army did a fantastic job in rebuilding bridges and restoring power. There has been some damage to our roads and that will be a big job to fix but I know council will get on top of that as time progresses."

The next meetings will be held at Rollands Plains Community Halls on Monday, May 3, at Hollisdale Hall on May 4 and Kendall Services Club on May 6.

Meetings will also be held at Beechwood Hall on May 10, Ellenborough Hall on May 11 and Comboyne Hall on Thursday, May 13.
