During the extreme makeover, ladies were entertained with a Mother's Day Lunch of rosemary focaccia bread and pizzas cooked in the men's shed oven.
Vice-president and operations manager Richard Curry said in previous years Mother's and Father's Day lunches were a regular event and everyone is delighted to see it back on the calendar.
"We've been holding the events for a couple of years now and everyone has a good time, we do usually hold the same event for Father's Day," he said.
"Members get a little kick out of holding the event and alongside the pizza we tend to a offer a beer or glass of wine, which is mostly accepted.
"We also hold a monthly meeting every third Tuesday and following Friday for pizzas and cards."
Father's Day guests are now anxiously waiting until September for their turn, when they will be able to enjoy the day reminiscing and and freshly baked pizzas.
The shed has around 200 members and will also be holding their twice-yearly garage sale on May 22 and 23, according to Mr Curry.
"We have items donated by the public, which we do our best to fix up for the sale," he said.
"The sale usually brings in around $3000, which keeps the doors open through the year."
