Earthworks are already underway at the Andari Estate and the construction of houses will begin in January, according to Jojeni Developments projects and sales manager Jason Bignell.
Mr Bignell, who has lived in the area for 51 years, said the Links Estate extension will be releasing around 10 houses in its initial stage.
"This estate is another aspect in the revitalisation of Kew. I've lived here all my life for 51 years and I've seen massive changes over the last five years," he said.

"People are moving to the area, who would never have considered Kew as a destination in the past.
"People are starting to realise Kew is a little out of the way and they can knock off work in Port Macquarie, come home to relax removed from that city life.
"These kinds of projects show the quality of what's available in the area and allows business to evolve with the knowledge that there will be demand."
Government architect W.L Vernon designed the Kew Police Station and official residence in 1899. The station originally included a courthouse, lock up residence, two cells and an exercise yard.
Mr Bignell said Kew had previously been recognised as a thoroughfare for the highway, but was now carving itself out as a boutique destination.
"People don't have to live in Port Macquarie but they are still in range of the beach. They can get entry level pricing here and there is bigger blocks of land rather than what you can get in Lake Cathie or Bonny Hills," he said.
"You're only 20 minutes from Kew to Port Macquarie and 40 minutes to Taree in the opposite direction.
"The focus is to have high quality properties that create a very appealing place to live, but in turn offer people great value for money. The houses will be exceptional value in comparison to other sectors of the market."
