Camden Haven High School students are thriving at home during NSW lockdown

Local students are hard at work during the NSW lockdown as they complete their Camden Haven High School studies at home.

School student Lillie Bowden created her own sculpture called Billie, whilst home schooling as part of an art task.

Year twelve primary industries students have also been learning to service a farm vehicle as part of their Vocational Education and Training extension course.

Students have been organising lunchtime markets of second-hand items in their classroom to help raise money for charity, as part of the certificate two in skills for work and vocational pathways.

They have raised $500 for rape and domestic violence charities, $126 for Lifeline and $200 for free mobile laundry and shower group, Orange Sky. The markets will be continuing throughout the year, depending on COVID restrictions.
