Members of the group meet weekly at the Top Spot Too cafe on Fridays from 10.30am to socialise and fundraise for local causes.
The group began as five members who decided to find an easy and unique way of assisting those less fortunate and struggling in the community.
Individuals now put forward the cost of a coffee, $5, each meeting and vote collectively on the recipient.
Group representative Graham Lee said the group has so far provided financial aid to single parents, Endeavour Clubhouse, Make a Difference Port Macquarie and other causes.
"We all meet up, have a coffee or tea and talk about world problems, our opinions, god and who we want to help," he said.
"The original members of the group all attended the same church, although on different days. This is a way we can all catch up and help the community.
"Anyone can join and we encourage people to put forward their own suggestions for causes to help.
"Usually we hear the suggestion, investigate it ourselves and allocate funding based on need.
"Funding has been used for 16 eye operations with the Fred Hollows Foundation, to help the Down The Track Charity and the Camden Haven Community at 3."
The group is supported by the Top Spot Too cafe.
