The all-weather bowls green and covered colourbond roof are part of a new $800,000 bowling complex being completed at Club North Haven.
The venue is envisaged to be available for evening events under lights and allow players to hold games under the shelter from sun, rain and wind.
Club secretary manager Peter Negus said the grand opening of the green is expected to be held at 10am on Wednesday, November 3.
"We have people laying the surrounding grass around the green at the moment. We have some seats and scoreboards to put out," he said.
"We have had people working on plumbing, electrical and concreting.
"It's been a long process but when it's complete 54 people will be able to play on this. They can play at night and during the day without worrying about the sun.
"Having seen it at night with the lights on, I know people will say 'wow' and be stunned by how amazing it is."
Grand Opening special guests likely to receive an invite include Mayor Peta Pinson, Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams and club bowls presidents.
More than $280,880 in funding was provided to Club North Haven under the NSW Government's Infrastructure Grants program.
