To celebrate the occasion a round robin tennis tournament will be played from 2.30pm on Saturday, November 27.
The successful club upgrade included resurfacing two courts with synthetic grass, installing 350 LUX LED lighting, repairing fencing and construction of a storage shed earlier this year.
Club president Peter Trotman said the project was funded by a $175,000 Stronger Country Communities grant.
"It's a momentous feeling to be reopening the tennis courts after the resurfacing. We have got about 30 players mostly from Laurieton registered to compete in a social afternoon of tennis on the day," he said.
"It's unbelievable for the members and Laurieton, this resurfacing will allow us to host tournaments, use the lights and make a real difference.
"From this project we can also gauge interest for a night competition in the new year, which would allow more young people to play at the club."
Mr Trotman said he is excited to welcome special guest and Member for Port Macquarie, Leslie Williams to see the new courts at the reopening.
The club already hosts Saturday afternoon social tennis sessions from 1.30pm for men's and women's players, as well as social tennis on Thursdays from 6.30pm.
