More than 130 adults and 70 children took part in the fishing competition from Friday, January 7 to Sunday, January 9.
Uncertainty around the increasing numbers of COVID cases in NSW and dreadful weather failed to dissuade determined fishos, according to event spokesman Matthew Hutchison.
"I have to say considering the latest COVID uncertainty and dreadful weather we are very pleased with the results," he said.
"With large swells and high winds for much of the weekend competitors mostly concentrated on the estuary, particularly on Saturday I don't think I have ever seen so many family groups fishing in the Camden Haven system. They were fishing from boats, rock walls and scattered across almost all sand flats.
"There was cheering and yahooing as boat passed each other and especially when fish were being reeled in, overall a great feeling on the water.
"At Sundays weigh in there were smiles for miles with excited kids and large family groups compiling for the results.
"We ran the barbecue and parents enjoyed a few refreshing drinks after a big weekend on the water. We ran through all the species winners both adult and juniors. winners were wide spread, there were plenty of raffle prizes and mystery cash giveaways."
Fourteen-year-old Alexander Hazell won the $500 mystery bream category, while eight-year-old Ariyah McGuiness won the $250 mystery flathead category.
Caitlin Trenaman and Col Trenaman won the mullet category with a 352 gram and 518 gram fish respectively.
Jack McFee landed the largest pearl perch at 1.150kg, Darcey Wicks had the largest junior bream at 820 grams and Trevor Green had the biggest adult bream at 850 gram.
Sam Heagney had the largest tailor at 1.870kg,Brett Lamb presented the largest snapper at 1.630kg and Luke Dwyer had the largest luderick at 684grams.
The adult garfish category was won by Daryl Hayward with a 74 gram fish and the junior garfish category won by Bronte Hayes with a 70 gram fish.
Jock McFee caught the the largest teraglin at 1.480kg, Matt Hutchinson caught the largest drummer at 2.060kg and Alex Ross caught the largest flounder of 190grams.
Logan Atkins caught the largest junior whiting of 275 grams, while Callum Scott caught the largest adult whiting of 328 grams.
Lacey Ryan caught the largest leather jacket of 358 grams.
Mr Hutchinson said all sub-juniors under eight years old were given a new rod and reel, while various prizes were given to all juniors under the age of 16.
"I would like to pass on our sincere thanks to all the local businesses that sponsored our event and made it all possible," he said.
Ticket sellers for the event included North Haven Bait and Tackle and the major sponsor was the Laurieton United Servicemen's Club.
