Contributions were made from members of the public, the Kendall Op-Shop, Kendall Community Centre raffle sales and sale of produce from Ian Oxenford and Tin Hta Nu's Aung Mingala Farm in Kendall.

Funding was donated in November 2021 and was spent on food such as rice, cooking oil, eggs, onions, garlic, and lentils, medicinal needs such as cold tablets, Panadol, multivitamins and personal hygiene such as soap and clothes washing detergents.

The Kendall-Kadaw friendship high school for 160 students was built in 2009. The village is situated in central Burma (now Myanmar) with 90 percent of the population as farming families.

As the need for high school is crucial, funds were raised to build the school. From the high school, five graduates are eligible to attend medical university and thus they were supported from 2009 to 2014.

Camden Haven has educated two dentists, two medical doctors and one optometrist, who are now treating millions of people in parts of Myanmar.

More than 200 disadvantaged slum children in Rangoon (now Yangon) were supported between 2012 to 14 to obtain school leaving certificates. They are able to join in the workforce as office workers, translators and tourist guides thus now having a decent living.

Since 2015 until now the Camden Haven public has provided on-going support to Thukhitayama girls' orphanage. Traditionally children with no extended family become orphans with girls sent to nunneries and boys to monasteries.

Sixty girl orphans were looked after by few elder nuns and three widows who have no family support. Over the last five years Kendall Op-Shop has supported education expenses for the girls (two girls in university, four girls in local public high school and the rest in primary or preschool)

COVID-19 and the Omicron epidemic is spreading rapidly and the recent military coup is creating a chaotic situation in Myanmar now. These conditions mean local donors are reluctant to go out to support the orphanage.

However the orphaned girls are saved from starvation with the money sent from Camden Haven. With frugal consumption the money sent will give them food for a few months.

Every morning at breakfast, the girls will send their loving kindness for health and happiness for the donors in Camden Haven in appreciation.
