The Open Stage Workshops: Roto House, July 18-19
Headspace Port Macquarie, Out Loud & Proud, and Home Café at Roto House present Open Stage. Youth from 12-18 are invited to unleash their creativity through a series of free workshops during the school holidays. The Open Stage will provide a platform for youth to explore and showcase their talents in a supportive and engaging environment. Bands at Bonnys: Bonny Hills, July 20
Bonny Hills Progress Association, with support from Port Macquarie Hastings Council and Bonny View Store, announce a new live music event 'Bands at Bonnys'. On Saturday, July 20 starting at 11am Kilipati, Mediocre Sunrise, Korderoy and Aunty Alan and the Uncools will perform at the Bonny Hills Community Hall, which can accommodate up to 165 people. Tickets for this free event are required and available on Eventbrite.

Australian Surf Championships: Bonny Hills, July 31 - August 8
The Australian Surf Championships are to be held on the beautiful coastline of Port Macquarie. The competition will include the Australian shortboard titles, Australian para surfing titles and Australian bodyboard titles. The primary location for the event is Bonny Hills with back up locations including North Haven, Middle Rock, Lake Cathie, Lighthouse Beach, Flynns Beach and Town Beach. Women get vocal: Uniting Church, weekly
Port Macquarie has a new women's choir and the invitation is open to see why singing is transforming their week! All ages 15 and over including some mums and daughters met to see what beautiful harmony can be achieved with voices only. Wauchope Patchwork Quilters Show: Wauchope, September 12-14
Wauchope Patchwork Quilters are holding a show of their best works over September 12-14. The group makes and donates quilts to community organisations such as Wauchope Hospital, Palliative Care and Bundaleer, plus other groups that raise funds via raffles. All proceeds from the raffle will be shared by Wauchope Neighbourhood Centre, Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services, and Motor Neurone Disease Research.
Yesterday's Gone: Glasshouse, September 15
Yesterday's Gone was one of the stand-out shows for the 2023 Night at The Barracks series and is now launching its first tour around Australia in August and September 2024. Paying homage to Fleetwood Mac's enduring legacy, Kav Temperley (of Eskimo Joe fame), Fanny Lumsden, Charlie Collins, and Karen Lee Andrews are all acclaimed stars in their own right.
