After a tense two day battle Camden Haven batted first and totalled 183 in its first innings. Main contributors were Chris Yewdall 43 , James King 40, Andrew Hall 20 and Al Williams 20. In reply Pirates were 3-94 at stumps on Saturday in a seemingly strong position. However Brad Aldous and Todd Dalton soon had the Pirates struggling on the second day and the opposition quickly slipped to 8 for 156.
Their tail tried to steady the ship however Dalton picked up the last wicket with Pirates just three runs short of first innings points. Dalton finished with 4-20 and Aldous 3-36. Camden Haven then steadily complied 189 for the loss of eight wickets in its second dig before Pirates declared and the trophy went to the Havens.
Saturday also saw Camden Haven 4th grade take out their premiership while 3rd grade came away as runners up on the day.
