RIVERVIEW JNR - 10YRS: Bye
SISTA WISH CLOTHING - 12YRS: Won.
The wet & slippery courts had both teams playing very cautious netball. A good start to the season for Miranda, Chloe did a great job playing in both attacking and defensive positions. Tarmara never stopped running, Ellen had a few slips in the wet but stayed on her feet, Ashleigh wasn’t so lucky and hit the deck hard. Pheobi managed a few falcons; Eliza and Taylee both played good netball. Thank you to Sista Wish Clothing for the great hand bands, they looked fantastic. Thank you also to the spectators, it was nice to see and hear you supporting both Camden Haven Teams. Training is now on Thursday’s 4.30pm – 5.30pm.
HAVEN WATERS MOTEL & SUITES- 12YRS: Defeated, The team played a great game, and worked very well together. Fantastic work by Lily and Jess who have only played two games before and are improving a lot. The girls showed great teamwork when Jessy hurt her ankle and had to come off. Great game girls.
L.U.S.C JNR- 13YRS: 9 all draw. Our first game for the season and unfortunately we were one player short. Thank you to all players for putting in 100%. Happy birthday to Lacey.
L.U.S.C SNR - DIV 3: Defeated. All girls had a great game and had fun. A special thanks to Christy Mc Miles for playing for us.
NORTH EASTERN DOOR FRAMING - DIV 2: Defeated.
The Panthers came out fast in the first two quarters and unfortunately got a lead. In the third & fourth quarters our girls showed that they were just as competitive and were equally scored with Panthers. I was very proud to see how every player stepped up to play great netball. Thank you parents for your support and girls wait till we face our next game and show the teams what your can do. Please contact Ash for training details.
TRAVELWORLD LAURIETON - DIV 4: Won 28-27.
RIVERVIEW SNR – DIV 6 - Won on a Forfeit.

Under 7's
A great start to the season this year from the Eagles 7's as we took on the Port Breakers. There was some tough defence and some really good tries scored by both teams. The Eagles managed to come away with the better scoring plays on the day.
This year we are playing a little short in numbers and we have had to find a couple of big 6's to make up our team and they are doing extremely well too. So a big thanks to Joshua Bradbury and Dane Chapman who play with us fulltime and without them we wouldn't be able to field a team. Also thanks to Rhys, Jacob and Thomas who have stepped up from the 6's and took on the challenge. These boys played two games on Saturday, I bet they were pretty tired. Special mentions go to Hayden Crossfield, James Coulter, Rhyan Hudson , Kye Gill and Kody Green wasn’t feeling too well at the start of the game, but he came good after the orange break and played hard. Well done boys.
Next week we play the Taree Panthers, see you at training Tuesday & Thursdays 4pm.
U/8’s
Saturday saw the under 8s travel to Forster. To say we were worried about the weather when we were leaving the beautiful Camden Haven was an understatement. However, the difference in weather in Forster couldn’t have been any more contrasted to that at home! Under a hot blue sky, the boys were excited that the football season had finally started again. We welcome some new faces to the team and on the day, it consisted of Dylan, Casey, Kade, Jack R, Jake, Mitch, Ned, our two Rileys, Damien, Dean, Jack T and Reece. Forster got off to a cracking start, scoring two quick converted trys. In the second third, our boys started to click into gear. Jack R, Jack T, Jake, Dean and Damien were busy as always in defence. Our new faces in the Rileys, Reece and Ned made some blockbusting runs up the middle. Mitch as always surprised us with his speed to burn in those little legs. Dylan, Casey and Kade as always were dynamic in both attack and defence with Kade saving certain trys and Dylan and Casey both scoring converted trys to even up the score line to result in a draw on the day. Some things to remember boys, don’t run too close to the sideline, you will be pushed out. Also, whilst backing up the person who has the ball, try not to get in the person’s way! A good comeback in the end. The boys and their parents were beyond excited to hear that they had been chosen to play at halftime in the City Country game next month in Port Macquarie. Well done and see you at training.
U/13’s
Well what a start to the season. We played Forster and we had our backs to the wall from the start. With a minimum 13 players, no reserves, we took to the field. Along came an Under 12's player Jai Hinder who said he would help out. We battled it out with the good Forster side and found ourselves behind with four minutes to go, 16 points to 14. But with a game breaking try to Sam Yates, we got the win. To Josh and James thanks for staying on when needed. Hold your heads up every one of you 13 who played on Saturday and our super sub. Backs to the wall stuff. Tries to Sam Yates, Harry Callinan, Lachie Hayman, Caleb Sanfead. Goals to Josh + Sam.

Kempsey Kingfish
With new players taking to the field for the first time Jack was in goals with Harrison controlling the game from fullback. Good passing from everyone was great to see with a lot of strong defending needed against a confident Kempsey side. Lots of chasing and tackling saw the other team held at 5 goals by halftime. Maddie into goals second half pulled off some excellent saves while Jack opened our scoring with a goal. Mitchell and Jye had a good game with lots of defending and kicking. Everyone joined in and chased the ball which is good to see. Keep it up.
Practice, practice, practice and confidence will come. Player on the day goes to Mitchell Kirkwood for a fine first game. See everyone at training.
LUSC Under 15 Girls v Wauchope
Not the ideal start to a season however, there are great signs to improve, down 3-1 at half time we clawed our way back to 3-2 with a vast improvement on the first half however, a fantastic goal by Wauchope sealed our fate. Final score 4-2.
Heads up girls some fine performances across the entire team with no subs available on the night, we’ll get better. Have fun see you at training - next week away at Koala St.

A bit quiet on the reports lately, no one else seems to know how to write. Rossy was disappointed because he and pup won the voucher and no one got to hear about it (at golf we’re all still hearing about it). The Eagles nest keeps going off, three weeks ago Pepe won 3 balls and a week later poor Robbo wins one, we must have made it too easy. This weeks game was a 2 man Ambrose and it was good to see Thomas and Trevor Boyle out for a hit. The course was a little damp but still in good nick. Balls were hard to come by, Pup and Nibbs monstered great drives to take home the long drives while Pepe took out the ladies hole and Trevor Saunders the second shot. The winners on the day were father and son Saunders finally getting the voucher after losing on a countback the week before. Bob and Ruddo handed in the pink shirts for Glen and Thomas to wear next time they play.

Bonny Hills Beach Hotel Social Golf
Only seven loyal players turned up on Sunday for our first day of the club championship, a single stroke event. Three of our regulars Kate Molony, Marie Carroll and Jacko were out with injuries and the Middlebrook clan had a family occasion to attend.
Winner on the day was the ever consistent Jenny Jackson with a net 56 followed by Tom Scrine with a net 57 being runner-up. Tom solved his putting difficulties by chipping in for a par on the 5th. His putting difficulties returned with a vengence on the 14th hole where his playing partners patiently waited until he finally got the ball into the hole. John MacIntosh also had an interesting game hitting 4 consecutive shots into a tree and he wasn’t even using his “tree” wood. Men’s nearest the pin on 4th hole was Tony Carroll and Men’s second shot nearest the pin on 7th was again Tony. Ladies 2nd shot nearest the pin on the 7th hole was Jenny Jackson. Ladies longest drive on 13th hole was Jenny Jackson and Men’s longest drive on 13th hole was Tom Scrine. The Bradman’s Award went to Stan Neal. Despite their injuries our caterer Marie Carroll and cook Jack soldiered on with their duties feeding our elete group back at headquarters.
Next game is Sunday May 2, at Wauchope 8am for a Stableford multiplier. This will be followed by playing at Harrington on Sunday May 16, hitting off at 8.30am. Meet at Tavern at 7am to car pool for the trip which is $24 for golf and lunch.
