Under 7’s
Great start to season against Wauchope. The boys held their own in defence the entire game, with our first try coming from a massive run down the side seeing Izac scoring his first ever try. Big effort well done mate. At the end of the second third our boys showed off their off loading skills with a number of passes on the hooter but lucked out on completing with a try. Sam and Hudson also took away a couple of tries. Great effort by Mikey in his first game of footy. Well done boys see you all at training Thursday.

JUNIOR LEAGUE
Camden Haven under 6s had a great game on Saturday against Wauchope. Jack, Zara, Thomas, Sabastian and Josiah all scoring a try and Brock scoring 2. Sonnie G and Sonnie T defending well for the team. Final score was 7 - 1. Next week we take on Port Breakers see you all there.
Eagles U/15's v's Forster
After a contraversal start to the season and an interrupted training schedule, over the last couple of weeks, finally we had our first game. In the first three minutes, Forster scored, looked like it could be a long afternoon. But to your credit boys, you turned that around with great heart and determination. The forward pack with bruising defence and very strong running. The backs equal to the task over a very classy backline. Final score Eagles 11, Forster 10. Well done boys, great team effort, I'm sure if you continue to train hard and turn up with that attitude each week you should have a very enjoyable year.
Congratulations

CH REDBACKS
JUNIOR SOCCER
After round 1 being washed out, the CH Reds U/6’s were able to sneak their first game in for round 2 last Saturday at home against Wauchope Axemen. With the entire team keen for their first game they were on the field ready to go. It was very entertaining for the spectators as the children & coach Josh had some fun. Even though losing 9-2 Rusty, Cooper, Indya, James, Logan & Ella played really well. Player of the week went to Indya & goals went to Logan & James. Well Done. See you all at training Thurs 4:30.
Camden Haven Whites Under 12’S
This week we travelled to S W Rocks and it was another successful game for the boys. Well done to the backs for their well improved combined effort. The boys scored two goals; the first by Zac and the second by Jack off a penalty shot attempt by Jacob and were they able to keep S W Rocks scoreless.
Training on Monday and our next game is at home @9am.

N.T.P.s were won by Brian Jenner on the 18th and 10th, Richard Pierce on the 4th and Bill (don’t mention the war) Wagner on the 7th.
This was also the final of the 4 ball competition with Terry Payne and Richard Pierce victorious against Peter Connor and Glen Smith.
Terry Payne flew under the radar with nothing untoward reported. Perhaps he has turned a corner.

Put names on board as early as possible.

Fourteen players presented at Kempsey Golf Club for an early start last Sunday to find a rain sodden course which proved to be difficult to master. A two ball stroke event was played and after much scrutinizing of the cards many of which were again unfathomable the winning duo were Tom Scrine and Eric Wade with a combined net score of 149. Runners up were Jenny and Alan Jackson with a net 153 followed by Tony Carroll and Kevin Bourne with 154. The best individual gross scores on the day were Tony Carroll 87, Paul Dickson 93 and Jacko 94.
Stan Muller who played his first game with the Club said he thought he would be pretty rusty having not played for ten years and he would probably play like a hacker. He was assured he would most likely fit in well.
Ladies long drive was Wendy Middlebrook and the men’s Brett Smith. Tony Carroll won the nearest to the pin on the 3rd hole whilst the ntp 2nd shot on the 16th was won by Jacko. Apparently this was the highlight of Jacko’s day as Jenny reported that he had trouble holding his clubs during the round and on one occasions the club “slipped” several metres from his hands.
Rumours persist that Tom Scrine has benefitted from sympathetic consideration from the Handicapper but he maintains this is merited as he “hasn’t been well lately.”
Following the game the group adjourned to HQ where Jacko again excelled on the BBQ displaying unbelievable culinary skills.
Next game another 2 ball stroke event is at Wauchope next Sunday 6th May at 8.00am. See you there.
LUSC SOCIAL GOLF
Sunday morning turned out to be a good morning for a round of golf. Pity the Captain decided to spoil it by choosing out game to be a stroke event. Good to see Simon out for a hit. Hope you enjoyed the morning. Josh monstered a big drive on the 1st then chipped on and 4 putted. That was just the start of the downhill slide. Anthony was having an up and down day while my putter was running pretty hot and the rest of my game was pretty, “something else”. Riddo was sinking them from off the green and Billy was his usual up the middle. NTPs in A Grade went to Josh on the 9th, Paul the 10th and Trevor the longdrive. B Grade’s best were Anthony the 9th, Paul the 10th and Trevor the longdrive. B Grade’s best were Anthony the 9th, Billy the 10th and Riddo the longdrive. Pepe was closest on the ladies hole and no-one could get close with their 2nd shot. The course was still a bit soggy and made scoring difficult but Billy handled it the best to shoot under his handicap to take the voucher just in front of Phil and Trevor. The Naga was hotly contested but Josh will be back in double figures with his handicap after winning the pink shirt. Next week is the triathlon so a few of us will be locked in but Phil said he’d put on a BBQ and free drinks back at his place after golf for those that can make it.
