A MAN is set to face court following a major drug haul at a Cameron Street property.

The 43-year-old of Wauchope stands accused of a string of drug-related offences, after police seized 9.8 kilograms of cannabis leaf and more than 250 cannabis plants from a shed located at the rear of a property.
Police from the Mid North Coast Target Action Group (TAG) executed a search warrant upon the address in Cameron Street, Wauchope on Tuesday afternoon.
There they allegedly found a major hydroponic cultivation set up, housing 256 cannabis plants ranging in height from five centimetres to one metre in height.
Police alleged 9.8kg of cannabis leaf and more than 85 grams of hashish was also seized, along with growing lights and other hydroponic growing paraphernalia.
As a result the man was arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station.
He was charged with cultivate prohibited plant large commercial quantity, supply cannabis and possess prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at the Port Macquarie Local Court on August 6, 2014.
