Tom and Lorraine Critchley were honoured guests for the hilarious dunking of the teachers.
Tom is the school's principal, currently on leave to care for his wife Lorraine who is suffering from Motor Neurone Disease.
The ice bucket challenge at St Joesph's was a fundraiser for MND research. Each student paid $2 for a raffle ticket. The prize? The honour of pouring a bucket of iced water over a teacher.
Tom had the pleasure of soaking acting principal David Hughes - who was dressed in shirt and tie.
There was much laughter from the students and squeals from the teachers, male and female, during the challenge.
