On Saturday a live video of the interview Shelley Watts gave at the launch of the Optus Local Heroes campaign reached over 80,000 people in just a few hours.
Not bad for a small-town “newspaper”.

Lots of opinions flew on social media as news broke about Rob Oakeshott’s tilt to return to politics, this time for the seat of Cowper.

LNP essentially bought the good Doctor his seat in parliament with its torrent of anti Oakeshott political advertising. Remember that Tony Abbott was the good doctor’s best man at his wedding. Something about dogs and fleas comes to mind.
