The popular 3 Rivers Mini Marathon now has a couple of new challenges to cater for rowers and paddlers looking to race over shorter distances.

Organised by the Port Macquarie Rowing Club, the event is open to rowing boats, surf boats, surf skis, kayaks, canoes, outriggers, dragon boats and stand up paddlers.
Along with the traditional 25 kilometre race, there are now 5km and 15km races.
These shorter distances are only available to forward-facing craft.
If you would like to find out more, rowing club members will be available to discuss the 3 Rivers Mini Marathon on August 6 at Port Central Shopping Centre, August 13 at the Westport Markets and on August 20 at the fundraising barbecue at Bunnings.
The 3 Rivers Mini Marathon is on August 28.
