Dust off the boots and rub in the Deep Heat for the family fun day to remember young Luke who passed away tragically in 2013.
Get your team ready to play on Sunday November 6. All money raised from the day’s events will benefit a local charity.
Games kick off at 9am and finish at around 3pm. Each team will play four games of touch football, 25 minutes per game, and enjoy a bunch of fundraising events.
It’s a seven-a-side competition - maximum 11 players per side. Players must be 12 years and older to play. Cost is $110 per team.
There will be jumping castles at a cost of $5 per child for unlimited use through out the day to keep the younger kids busy and a full canteen also to be operating.
The richest 100m sprint race in Laurieton will be on with the fastest male and female each to take home $100 and the fastest under 12 years boy and girl to compete for $50 each.
There is an open gumboot race over 100m included on the card with the winner also to pocket $100. Contestants must bring their own boots and must be of the high type - no ankle height boots allowed.
Boots will be subject to a steward’s inspection before the race.
There will be raffles and 100 club draws along with a few other fun events to help raise some money for a local charity. For more information about the day or to nominate your side contact Bec Faddy on 0403 909 799 no later than October 28.
