Union gala and league pre-season called off
THE Lower Mid North Coast Rugby Union gala day at Old Bar and the opening round of Group Three Rugby League’s pre-season at Kempsey and Wingham have been cancelled due to the wet weather.

Five teams were set to play in the gala on Saturday.
Northern Group Three sides were drawn to contest the pre-season rounds at Kempsey on Saturday with southern clubs to meet at Wingham on Sunday.
Group Three chief executive Barrie Smith said second round matches will be played next weekend at Tuncurry on Saturday and Port Macquarie on Sunday.
“The draw will be released early next week,’’ he said.
