Thursday and Friday will see maximum temperatures on or around the long term average temperature of 21.5 degrees.
Saturday and Sunday are already forecast for maximum temperatures of 23 and 24 degrees, according to weatherzone meteorologist Tom Hough.
“Thursday will be mostly sunny conditions throughout the day and a maximum of 21 degrees,” he said.
“With an overnight minimum of nine degrees, Friday will feature pretty much similar conditions, but with less cloud coverage.
“Friday’s daytime temperature maximum will top out at 21 degrees.
“Saturday will start with a minimum of 10 degrees before climbing to a slightly warmer 22 degrees during the day and is forecast to be sunny but with patches of cloud.
“Sunday is going to be slightly warmer again at 24 degrees maximum."
An approaching cold front should reach the Mid-North Coast on Sunday afternoon or early evening but should only bring a few showers.
The start of the new working week should bring generally clear conditions with somewhere around 21 or 22 degrees for Monday and Tuesday.
Mr Hough said Thursday will feature 13 kilometre per hour winds but easing through to Saturday. On Sunday those winds will likely pick up again to about 10kph.
Out to sea, the swell and wave height are relatively small with nothing of major note, said the weather forecaster.
