The talented and determined Kendall Blues Ladies are proving they are a force to be reckoned with and will play in the 2018 Hastings League grand final on August 18.

Hastings League Ladies 13s played three games on Friday, July 27.

In the first game the girls in green accounted for the Macleay ladies 10 to 4. For Beechwood Mel Norup and Nicky Pender scored. Nick kicked one goal and Megan Archibald scored for the Lower Macleay side.

In the second game the Kendall players proved too strong for Beechwood and were the winners with a 20 nil score. Ellie Johnston crossed for three tries. Shanene Matthews scored one try and kicked two goals.

In the last game the Kendall players won a hard fought game against the much improved Macleay side 8 nil. Ellie and Shanene again scored for the Blues.

Hastings League launched their first-ever Friday Night Women’s Tackle Competition in 2018, with over 80 girls in the four-team open-age competition.

The competition kicked off in June for 10 rounds and featured teams from Beechwood, Comboyne, Lower Macleay and Kendall.

The Kendall Blues ladies would love a great turn out of support at the grand final on August 18 in Wauchope.
