Bonny Hills Rural Fire Brigade (RFB) captain Glenn Dunn said crews were called to the fire at about 5.30am on Saturday, June 22.
Crews from Bonny Hills RFB, Camden Haven RFB and Fire and Rescue NSW Laurieton attended.
Crews had put out the fire by about 12.30pm on Saturday.
However Glenn said due to the moss at the location, the fire was able to still smoulder under the ground.
By Sunday morning the fire had reignited at the location. Crews were called to the location at 8am and had extinguished the fire by midday.
Glenn said there have been about five fires in the area over the past month.
There are reports the fires might be suspiciously lit.
Fire investigators are currently looking into the cause of the fires.
