A Laurieton resident is warning others to keep their valuables locked up after their Indian Head campsite was targeted over the weekend.

Christine Strong was camping with her family when they had three fishing rods stolen from their site in the early hours of Sunday, July 14.
Christine's family has been camping at the Indian Head campground for about 15 years and have never experienced problems with stealing before. She reported the incident to police.
A spokesperson from NSW Police said a mountain bike was also stolen from Diamond Head campground over the weekend.

Meanwhile a Kendall man has been charged with drinking driving after he was stopped by Laurieton Police on Friday, July 12 at Orara Street, Kendall.
He recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.91. He will appear in Port Macquarie Local Court on August 28.
